Hello,

As we get deeper and deeper into the world of "hot agents", we learn more and more about viruses with unknown origin, no vaccine and no cure.

For your homework tonight:

Option one: Research Ebola.  The Hot Zone was written over twenty years ago.  We know a lot more now about Ebola especially after the recent outbreak.  How is it transmitted?  What is the experimental drug they are using for Ebola?  Is there a vaccine?

Option two:  What are some examples of foreshadowing in the chapter "Total Immersion".  How does Preston hint at what might happen?

Option three:  Describe your feelings about ALMOST being exposed to Ebola virus, (like Nancy Jaax).

I will see you tomorrow,
Ms. Betsy
