Option one:  Bradbury makes a lot of predictions about the future.  What predictions have come true?  What predictions have not come true?

Option two:

As Montag 'walks off into the sunset' with his new group of friends, they set out to create something new out of the ashes.  They are like the fictional phoenix.  What other movies or stories use the idea of a phoenix?

Option one:  Captain Beatty is a BULLY.  At the end of A Sieve and the Sand, Beatty is bullying Montag.  Describe the different ways Beatty is torturing Guy Montag.

Option two:  Describe how Montag feels about Faber.

This fog is beginning to make NYC feel like London.  If you don't know anything about London, remember what Faber said about books. We can learn a lot about other countries just by READING about them!

Option one:  Montag became very frustrated with the women in his house.  What did he do to deal with his frustration?  What would you have done?


Option two:  What are some similarities between Montag's two way radio and something you use everyday?  What are some of the differences?
