You guys did a really great job today!  Thank you for your continued efforts.

Your homework for tonight:

Option one:
1.  Why does Jem want to be by himself?

2.  Why do Jem and Scout worry about their father's safety when he goes to watch Tom?

3. Why does Jem stand up to Atticus?

Option two:
In a well-developed paragraph, answer the following question.  Why is there strength in a mob and anonymity?  Why are people more likely to break the law when they can hide in a crowd?
