Good morning,

Because we worked so hard on commas, we can finally take a breath.

(Extra credit for anyone who can tell me which group of words is the dependent clause and which one is the independent clause, and WHY.  (Extra extra credit for anyone who can tell me the difference in a song in the style of "Independent Women"))

Option one:

1. What is a dependent clause?

2. Give an example of a dependent clause marker.

Option two:
In a well-developed paragraph, answer the following question. Compare and contrast independent clauses and dependent clauses. (Remember, compare and contrast means discuss the similarities and differences.)
